Military Career Transition Coach & Resume Writer
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and 20-year career Marine officer, I served in operational and training environments both in infantry units and IT organizations in the U.S. and Japan. While on active duty, I attended evening classes at Strayer University, graduating with a M.S. in Information Technology. I also hold a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Naval Academy.
Following my military service, I served 23 years in software sales, consulting and sales enablement for small and large IT companies, including IBM. At IBM I traveled extensively worldwide helping clients deliver IT innovation solutions, while teaching sales representatives consultative selling techniques. Finally, having recruited and hired my own staff over the years, I understand what recruiters and hiring managers are seeking.
My current passion is helping military veterans discover and launch into their post-military professions. This includes resume writing, job search, and interviewing skills. With experience in both spheres, combined with years of leadership in corporate America, I welcome the opportunity to benefit the lives of other veterans.
